When authorities lie and manufacture public mania and psychosis, it can appear on the outside as if the majority believe the lies and a tiny minority who openly resist do not, but the reality is much more complicated than that.
- Some people feel the lies subconsciously but suppress their feelings. They outwardly profess to believe the lies but are revealed to be deeply conflicted when questioned compassionately.
- Some people see the lies but pretend to believe them because they are terrified of losing careers, friends, family, business or other deep loss.
- Some people see the lies but pretend to believe them because they benefit from them.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, they gather privately with like-minded others to wait until open resistance will be effective.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, they wage a secret war against the lies that is never seen publicly.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, they adopt the lies in extreme and absurd ways to accelerate the demise of those lies. They accept their role as the adversary.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, they begin to research and build new technologies, new businesses, new systems, new communities that undermine the lies.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, they resist openly against closely related lies that undermine the bigger lies.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, create works of art that employ metaphor, symbol and story since this reaches others subconsciously and is almost impossible for authorities to perceive or censor.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, embrace their feelings of isolation, alienation and fear to transform and transcend their old-selves so that they may better know truth and love.
- Some people see the lies but instead of openly resisting, withdraw from the world because they believe that apparent evil is a natural transformative force that eventually burns itself out.
Openly resisting authority has consequences that often undermine the sustainability of that resistance. There are many paths in this journey of awakening in the house of lies. We all choose our own path. You are not alone.
